Love Travel - Australia Perth (Day 4&5) 爱自游 - 澳大利亚珀斯第四, 五天

Day 4 in a lovely city Perth Australia - 19 August 2012 (Sunday)

We woke up in the early morning, had our breakfast and preparing to start our trips.  Our best friends brought us to Pinnacle Desert Discovery.  It is a long journey for us to the place, took about 2-3 hours by car.  Finally, we reached the place.

Why we went Pinnacle Desert Discovery?
Because Pinnacle has a most unique and fascinating natural landscapes with the lunar-like Pinnacles form and over million of years, thousands of tall limestone spires rice eerily out of the yellow desert sands of Nambung National Park, just outside the coastal town of Cervantes.

photo smileycamera2_zpsdd35e614.gif We took some photo before entry the Pinnacles Desert Discovery Centre with the 2 little naughty babes (my plush toys - butterdog & handsome) and also our best friend's daughter.. We were snap photos together.. Look at them! They were really cute!! =D

photo smileycamera2_zpsdd35e614.gif After taking our photo, we went to the Pinnacles Desert Discovery Centre.  It was located within the park, can found it very easily.  The centre has display many unique things like flora and fauna and we also found other details like about other national parks and nature reserves on Australia’s Coral Coast.  Meantime, there have a retail outlet offering a range of regional souvenirs and gifts.  It’s a very good place to visit.

Then, we access to the famous Pinnacles Desert – Nambung National Park, the most unique natural attractions!  We can get up close to the park on a scenic drive and walk trail over the park.  It’s not easy to access by car but you can take a coach or four wheel drive tour to this park.  It’s a very unique and a natural place!  We took our photos by jumping here and jumping there, because it was nice scenery and I can feel the freedom by shouting like the advertisement: “I love my life!”  but really true is this world really like a book, have so many things to discover, I am really enjoy my travel life especially with the other half of me .

We stayed here about 2 to 3 hrs and is time to go for our dinner! He-he!  All of us plan to have BBQ dinner at home.  So, we bought a lot of seafood at the market and back home to preparing our BBQ party.

We had a wonderful dinner.  End of our day-4 trip in Perth.

Next day, Day-5, 20 August 2012, Friday, we planned to back to the Perth city again and buy something that we missed to buy on the first day.  We went to the Factory Outlet again at Harbour Town.  We checked it out still have what things to buy and walk around the city again.  My feeling that time was so bad, because our trips were going to end.  I gotta back to my reality life again.   Time was passed too fast when you were relax or playing around.  Really don't feel like want to go home.   And I try to convincing him to migrate to Perth; I think I very love this place, but of cause I’m just joking.

At the night time, our best friends brought us to Fremantle for dinner.  He said: “The place famous ‘Fish & Chips’ so wanted to bring us go there for a try!” of cause we would love to try, after that, we went for a bar for a drink and ate some dessert like cake and we talk some funny things until very late.  We back home and pack our things to leaving this lovely city on tomorrow morning.

We have a wonderful trip in Perth.  And for sure, we will visit again!

This Caversham Wildlife Park unlike zoo in Singapore/Malaysia which most animals are refrained from the public, we can get up close with these animals.  The first attraction we went was feed the Kangaroos.  We walked through the Kangaroo Park and we can view them in a natural environment.  Not just that, the Kangaroo food was provided, we can helped our self to feed them.  Kangaroo were very friendly.

The park had variety of animals, e.g. Wombat & Friends, Koalas, Goats and others.  There had a signboard to lead you to the way that you want to go, we had no worries.
We went to meet the Wombat & Friends, the Wombat & Friends was held in their exclusive Australian Homestead Arena!  We were excited and listened to the speaker introduce their favourite animals in the park.  Meantime, we queued up to take photos with the Combat.  The Combat was so cute!

After visited the Combat & Friends, we went to Molly’s Farm.  Molly’s Farm is an interactive farm and suitable for all ages children.  We saw variety of animals and took some photos, e.g. Goat and Sheep, Fallow Deer, Horse, Donkey, Buffalo, Bunny, Pony, Ilama and many.  Animals food were provided, so we can helped our self to feed them.

After we met the Koalas we went back to the Kangaroo Park and feed them once again before we leaving the park.

We leaved the park and went for our next places to take our lunch.

River Bank Estate restaurant located at Swan Valley was our first choice of taking our lunch in the afternoon.  The Food was delicious and portion was generous, staffs were friendly, and you can free taste the wine at the counter before you order from the staff.  And the atmosphere and scenery were very nice to taking photos.  We were impressed and enjoy the lunch at this restaurant.   Recommend!

We finished our lunch and departure to our next places.  Honey farm and Wine at Swan Valley.  We bought honey and some wine to bring it home.  *no picture for the honey place but wine have*  but only took the scenery at the farm places.

  Ta-dah!

Finally, we reached our destination at Perth International Terminal airport at around 5 am, 17 Aug’12 (Friday).  We were taking photos outside the airport while waiting for my hubby’s best friend came to meet us and brought us to his home.  We reached his home around 6 am and we took a nap for refresh and shop around the Perth City Area with our own.  Our best friend needs to work today so we done our first trip itinerary.

We woke up at 10 am morning and preparing to go out enjoys our first day trip at Perth.  Wu-hoo~  I really love the houses in Perth – big, nice, simple, peaceful and the air was so refresh.  We took bus at outside home heading to the city of Perth.

We were arrival in the City of Perth.  I am so exciting and hungry.  So many 'ANGMO' - a Hokkien language it means many white people.  We were looking around the place while hunting some restaurant for our dinner.

And we found a fast food restaurant ‘Hungry Jack’.  It was a restaurant like ‘Burger King’ in Singapore.  I ordered Burger Chicken and my hubby ordered Burger Beef.

After our dinner, we were planning to go around at the Hay Street Mall.  Then, we passed by the Forrest Chase Perth.  And I took a photo with the tourism counter and she was so friendly.  Look at us!

Forrest Chase Perth was a Premier shopping area with many branded things.  And there have a lot of nice & beautiful restaurant.  The people were so nice and friendly.  I really love the environment at there and the people always put on smile even they don’t know you.  And I met an ‘ANGMO’ guy super handsome and I looked at him and he smiles to me.  So happy and of cause I told my hubby this and his face likes omg! .......?  Ha-Ha…

The Hay Street Mall a heartbeat of the city, more new stores to shop in and you’ll be able to see Dick Smith store, David Jones, Spirts Girl and many others.  It is enough to shop until you drop and a place to visit as a shopping experience, jam packed with interesting sights, sounds, crowds.  It’s really a nice place to spend for few hours.

Of cause not only these two places, there were so many mall in the city, e.g. Garden City Shopping Centre a mall with a huge variety of shops and boutique, Carillon City Shopping Centre a mall that connect to Hay Street Mall and was a massive spread of top brand outlets, Karrinyup Shopping Centre a mall that has a lot of offer only have 2-storey not big and not small and many others mall.

After we spent few hours at the Hay Street Mall and others mall, we went to Harbour Town Perth.  Harbour Town Perth was a factory outlet in the city and there have variety shop which you can buy, e.g. Adidas, Nike, New Balance, Brookes, Jim Kidd, Converse, RM Williams, Levis, Cotton On and others.  To me, this was the favorite place I loved to go, cause has many shops and fashion shops for girls, especially Cotton On, I bought many clothing for myself, my family and for my big plush toys inside the Cotton On and some cost $1, $2, $5 per piece.  I am looking for cheap stuff… Ha-Ha!  And we bought 2 pairs of shoes at Nike Shop, and sport jacket, T-shirt from Adidas.  We bought many things in this outlet.  And there also had few cafés you can sit down to take a rest.  We spent around 2 to 3 hours inside this outlet until many of the shop closed at 5 pm.

After shopping, we waiting for our best friend came to meet us in the city and brought us to Sorrento Quay Boardwalk dinner together with his family. Sorrento Quay Boardwalk it is on the ocean, located at Western Australia Sunset Coast just needs to take about 20 minutes north of Perth city.  At Sorrento Quay Boardwalk you will found that they have many selections of restaurants and cafes, a tavern, over 40 specialty stores to tempt you with all manner of goods, and a safe, well-protected swimming beach.  We decided to have our dinner at Little Caesars Pizzeria.  This Little Caesars Pizzeria with dozens of pizzas to choose from, here were our pizzas.
